RABAN LAKE RETREAT
A DAY WITH THE TEMIARS.
DAY 1 RABAN LAKE (D)
Arrival and check in at 2 pm. For the evening you can enjoy bicycling or boating around the lake. Just enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding. You can also enjoy fishing at the lake, even from the resort`s lakeside or at the boathouse.
At night you will enjoy BBQ dinner at the resort.
DAY 2 TEMIAR VILLAGE / LATA CUPAK WATERFALL ( B/L/D )
After breakfast, you will depart for Lubuk Cupak, a reservation of the Temiar, an indigenous tribe of the area. You will be trakking for 30 minutes on foot to get to the remote village. Upon arrival, you will mingle with the friendly tribe and kearn their lifestyle. You will taste their lunch of various tubers such as ubi kunyit. Also you will see their craftmaking of headdresses using natural resources such as flowers and memepelas leaf. Then you will depart to enjoy the cool water of the Temiar`s waterfall.
In the evening, there will be cultural dances and songs performed by Temiars.
DAY 3 PEKASAM PROCESSING INDUSTRY (B)
After breakfast you will be taken to Raban`s most well known industry,pekasam processing. At the factory, you will be able to view how pekasam is manufactured; from cleaning the fish, salting, coating with rice brittles and packaging, ready for delivery. Lter on, you will be taken to Lenggong for lunch.
